It's finally cooled off some here in our part of Texas. In fact, the low on Tuesday is supposed to be 70 degrees! I'm just beside myself. Time to break out the pumpkin spice and UGGs!
Today's FIRECRACKERS have a theme: DATE NIGHT!
With two sweet girls, we don't get a lot of date nights, though ELC certainly tries to help us get out as much as possible. Right now, we actually have a double-date tentatively scheduled for next Friday, and I'm planning my outfit now.
I don't always wear perfume. I'm super picky about scents, as most tend to give me a headache. For my 33rd birthday, I bought (with a sweet gift card from Lauren) Jo Malone "Wood Sage and Sea Salt Cologne." I have the small bottle. It's lasted a year and a half and will probably last me another six-months. While somewhat pricey, I think, stretched out over two years, that it's actually quite a bargain! I love this so much. It's clean and fresh and simply YUMMY. They sell a candle in this scent, too, and I think I might treat myself to one soon!
I think everyone is well-aware Nordstrom is currently having their annual Anniversary Sale. Duh, right? It's truly amazing. I've purchased several things for the girls (shoes, shirts, coats), a few Christmas gifts, a pair of jeans and these boots:
These are the Lucky Brand "Yabba" in Blush Suede. Initially, I was drawn to the black. But, the more I looked at the pink, I couldn't resist. While a lot of sizes are sold out, I'm hoping they'll restock soon. Even if it's after the sale. These are so comfy, y'all! While the color is a bit springy/summery, I think the suede lends them to be more all-year. I can't wait to wear these next Friday.
I always feel extra fancy with a heel or wedge and a spritz of perfume. Now to find the perfect top.
